Lead Time

​

Please allow at least a few months for wedding cakes, and at least four weeks for other orders. Some seasons get booked up 12-15 months in advance, so please let us know as soon as you have a date for your event, just to be safe. We occasionally take on urgent orders, too. It is important to note that, as part of our delicate artistic process and dedication to high standards, we are very limited to the number of cakes we create per week. 

 

Consultations

For wedding cakes, we advise you to book a Design and Tasting Consultation. There is a £30 fee for this, which also reserves your date until your final design and quote are issued. 

​

You will be able to taste four gourmet cake flavors crafted freshly by our bakery that week. These flavors introduce you to the quality, taste, and texture of our cakes, and you are welcome to select any flavors from our menu for your wedding cake. 

​

The session is for 2 people, although more can be accommodated on request. Allow 45 minutes to an hour for the consultation.

Following this meeting, you will receive a sketch of your cake, and an email proposal outlining the details of your order. 

 

Payment

​

Payment is via debit/credit card (+2.5%) or bank transfer. Details of the account will be emailed to you upon confirmation of the order. We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, with the balance due 45 days before delivery.
